TAIGH AN TOBAIR
Taigh an Tobair (House by the Well) is a single storey house situated in the small crofting township of Colbost, within easy walking distance of the world famous Three Chimneys Restaurant, a Folk Museum showing crofting life as it was in the early 19th century and Loch Dunvegan where seals are often to be seen playing around the shoreline.

It is only a short drive, about five miles, to Dunvegan, and about 10 miles in the other direction to Neist Point Lighthouse, the most northwesterly point on Skye which just happens to be one of our favourite places and an ideal place to spot whales, basking sharks, porpoises and even more seals.
Accommodation in Taigh an Tobair comprises:
A comfortable living room with views out to sea and the islands (as on topbar of this site and photo at end of this page). Furnished with two sofas and a large coffee table, tv and dvd/video player with a selection of books, videos and games provided for those days or evenings spent indoors.
A kitchen / diner with oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and all crockery, cutlery and glassware.

One double bedroom with kingsize bed
One smaller bedroom with double bed and ensuite wc and wash hand basin.

One small single bedded room.

One family bathroom with bath, overbath shower, wc and wash hand basin
The house is centrally heated throughout and also features a wood burning stove in the living room for those chillier evenings.

All bedlinen and towels are provided, along with tea towels and a small quantity of cleaning materials.

We regret that the house is not suitable for very young children or pets and smoking is not permitted within the house
